How MonikaPrime saves time

MonikaPrime is a food safety management system that manages temperatures, tasks and checks. Unlike other digital food safety systems, our system doesn’t just record temperatures – it covers the full spectrum of food safety tasks.

Using the Smart PA, a robust android device that is Biocote-treated for hygiene, you can schedule all your routine tasks and checks including maintenance checks, hygiene checks, stock checks for shelf life, cleaning routines, pest control, goods-in inspections and more. This significantly reduces time spent filling and filing paper forms.

By scheduling these activities at appropriate times – when service demands are lower – you also improve employee productivity. Accountability is also higher, as you can assign tasks to particular locations and times – tasks can only be checked off when staff are in the right place at the right time. User and Area tags identify individual users or the areas in which they are working. This adds to the integrity of the data collected, verifying person, time and place.

Hand probing is a time-consuming task undertaken to sample food temperatures at the end of processes such as prime cooking, chilling, defrosting and reheating to ensure safe temperatures have been achieved and are recorded. MonikaPrime uses a wireless blue tooth probe in conjunction with the Smart PA for this purpose, again saving time against pen and paper recording.
