Account Manager – Full time

Significant growth opportunities at Monika have resulted in the requirement for an Account Manager to join our team. Recently relocated to a new office space in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, our company is set to grow.

About the role

In this newly created role you will be responsible for supporting, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. You will ensure projects are fulfilled and timelines adhered to, understand and address clients’ business needs, and maximise new opportunities in the form of upgrades to our latest software and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest quality proactive support to clients
  • Monitor the installation, commissioning and training of new sites
  • Monitor post installation client care to consolidate long term client retention and loyalty
  • Act as primary point of contact for issues and complaints on customer service, support or sales
  • Advise customers on new features and enhancements that may assist with customer business growth
  • Target and win new business by leveraging the existing customer base and engaging in networking and promotional activities
  • Work with the sales team to prepare pricing and quotes for new work and follow up on these

Skills and experience

  • A B2B specialist with minimum five years’ sales, account management or customer service experience, preferably in the technology industry
  • Minimum three years’ management experience
  • Able to build in-depth knowledge of Monika’s integrated hardware and software solution
  • Proven ability to communicate and navigate at all levels, i.e. chefs, small business operators, and directors/senior managers at multinational organisations
  • Relevant industry experience i.e. Software, IT Services, Capital Equipment, Industrial Equipment, Instrumentation
  • Experience with MS Office applications
